Stefanie Harrington is the founder of Word Travels Fast Communications, where she helps organizations shape impactful narratives that advance their mission and strengthen their reputation.
Word Travels Fast operates on a flexible, expert-led model. Stefanie leads every engagement, partnering directly with clients to shape strategy and guide execution. She draws from a trusted network of senior-level specialists, assembling tailored teams based on each client’s needs.
Stefanie is a communications leader with experience spanning national corporations and associations, global nonprofits and international development initiatives. She has worked extensively at the intersection of health, science and public policy, advising C-suite executives and leading strategies that strengthen reputation, advance policy, and drive engagement and funding.
Stefanie’s experience includes leading nonprofit campaigns, public affairs initiatives and corporate communications across multi-stakeholder environments, including the Personal Care Products Council, ImagineNations Group, Prevent Cancer Foundation and Impact100 DC.
